CDI's say "Thanks!"

Postby Dan Chambers on Mon Mar 22, 2010 12:32 pm

On behalf of Mark Rondeau and Joel Bowman I would like to say thank you from the CDI's to everyone who participated in the Spring 2010 Performance Driving School.

In the many years that I've helped at these events, I can't remember having more fun or seeing more smiles from the Students and Instructor Corps than this past weekend. That kind of result is from the hard work, dedication, and sincere effort made by everyone up front and behind the scenes. In particular I'd like to mention a few people that stood out in my eyes:

Steve McKay: Mr. "I got that!" Any time anything needed doing, Steve jumped in, along with his regular hustle-up duties as Corner-Working Chair.
Mark Rondeau: Mr. "Consider it done." If I said something like "Hmm. Did we remember to ..." His answer was always "Consider it done."
Joel Bowman: Mr. "If I don't know how to do it, I'll learn D@MN FAST .... 'cause everything I do is d@mn fast HaHaHaHa!" And learn he did!
Sean Mallow: Mr. "You got it, Boss!" Anything that was asked of Sean was replied with a "You got it, Boss!" Outstanding!

All the Instructors in the Corps and volunteers who gave up one, two, or two+ (Friday night) days of their free and precious time off to work hard to make the Spring PDS the success I believe it was. THANK YOU!

Now,let's all catch our breath, drive some events, and look forward to another great school in the fall.

Thanks To All!
Dan

This is my second time taking the performance school, and now, having had some more experience, I got so much more than the first time I took it. Actually, I'm still in a 'high' from the weekend, hungry for more and smiling whenever I remember all the fun experiences.

I'd like to thank the CDIs and all the instructors and volunteers. I am involved in a volunteer organization and I know what it takes to produce such an event: Great logistics and organization, equipment and knowledge, but most of all the commitment and dedication of the volunteers.

Without exception, each volunteer I interacted with was nice and supportive, and I learned something from every instructor I set next too in a car or talked with. It was like having great time with friends while improving my skills and playing with fun toys.

Thanks again and see you at the Q
