I'm not made of money...I live paycheck to paycheck unfortunately at my age(24). I can't buy food or gas today. Not real funny to me. The $940 I was charged is more than I make in week. Then add $35 overdrafts for each.

There has been an error with the Motorsport Reg Software.

Several of us have been on the phone with them multiple times.
The problem is now well known and is being worked on.

Everyone who was charged multiple times will be credited back today. As it needs to be done one individual at a time, it will take several hours.

Not everyone was charged more than once.

We will designate an email address for everyone to email in with any questions. We will correct everything, including any "overdraft" or similar charges, but it may take awhile.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Honestly , this is more than just an inconvenience for Eric. So to be clear, in the future we should all have 4x the event cost in the bank when we sign up???

What are they doing to prevent this from happening in the future?

Chuck has been great with his correspondence and attention to this matter and I sincerely thank you.
Hopefully motorsport reg can get their stuff together and this doesn't happen again.

The refunds have not been posted yet but I am optimistic they are going to take care of it.

As of 2:00 pm today, Motorsport Reg has credited back all of the overcharges that we are aware of. It might take until tomorrow morning for your individual credit card companies to post both the charges and credits.

If after Wednesday (mid day) there is still a problem, let us know at pca.sdr.de@gmail.com

Thanks, Chuck. Just sent an email after checking my credit card account. I was charged 3 times on the 10th. But, so far, nothing has been reversed or credited.

To Everybody Affected by this,

I just confirmed with MotorsportReg.com that all refunds were processed on Tuesday and there were no "failures". So that means that the individual Banks and Credit Card companies are taking their sweet time in issuing the refunds. I have confirmed with other CC retailers that Credit Card companies DO often take several days to process refunds, so it is all still believable that it is OK and will resolve soon, but it would not hurt to call your Credit Card Company to complain that the refunds were processed on Tuesday, May 11 around mid-day and you have still not seen the credit on your account. By the way, I just checked ours and it is the same as many of yours. We show 5 charges and no refunds yet.

Best Regards,
Chuck

Chuck, just called CitiBank...they confirmed that credits/reversals can take up to 5-7 days to post to your account. Thanks for working on this....
