Wow! A good friend of mine is a State Trooper/Park Ranger. He says that on average, every 3rd car on the road after 11:00PM and before 5:00AM is a driver operating under the influence. :beerchug: YIKES. :nono:

I give credit to the white "activity Bus" driver. That was the best "accident avoidance" example I've seen in a while. On the other hand, the motor bike ones were tough to watch. :surr: These examples really make you want to look out for the bad drivers and be defensive at all times.

I am in the process of teaching my 16 year old daughter to drive (has learners permit) and I will be showing this to her.
Maybe it will illustrate better what idiots are out there as opposed to just hearing it from her Dad over and over again.

Currently we are working on finding the idiots before they find us.
i.e.- Woman yelling at her kids instead of driving, guy searching for the next CD in his lowered sun visor, teen with girlfriend in his lap.
These drivers usually make some serious error before leaving our field of view.

I swear drivers get stupider every day... "now you damn kids get off my lawn!!!" :grr:
OMG... I've leapfrogged my father and have become my 98 year old grandfather.

The white bus was unreal. Steve you got to hand it to the guy with his girl friend on his lap. He just needs to find a more private place.

While I give that bus driver credit for not hitting anyone, he did not avoid an accident, it looks to me that he almost caused one and narrowly avoided it by an evasive maneuver at the last moment. That is not "accident avoidance", that is at best lucky "accident prevention".

Don't blame you Steve. I'd want him far away from my daughters also.

I think I'm going to go out tomorrow, buy an H1 Hummer and drive 5mph under the speed limit everywhere I go. *shudder*

I want a tank. I believe we recently had the anniversary of the Tank Boy escapade. Except for the getting shot by the SDPD he had the right idea. But if you get a Hummer make sure you get the armored one.
