69 didn't have a ducktail..

Color change that needs paint , alone that will be 5-10k depending on the quality you want.
Need to verify matching engine/trans numbers etc. I am not saying its not a good deal , but take someone who knows the cars well and a screwdriver and check it out first.
+1
My observations:
- after-market inexpensive decklid (car was hit?)
- Hints of rust all over the trunk area (an ice pick is really handy when looking at these old tubs ... easy to conceal in your pocket, too)
- Shoddy paint job (again ... hit?)
- Re-done seats with poor quality material/workmanship
- dirty head liner
- broken visors
- cheesy steering wheel cover . (orig. probably trashed)
- No telling how it runs. Engine looks refreshed (rebuilt after it was hit?)
- car is sitting very high in the rear. New (improper) shocks/torsion bars? Bad alignment ... after it was hit? (Again with the "hit" thing?)
I'd give the guy $4K and tell him he's lucky Father Joe doesn't come begging for a donation car.
Just my view ....
