The "other" PCASDR

Postby Mmagus on Sun Jun 13, 2010 10:48 pm

Kari and I have been pretty active in the AX side of things, and when we showed up to the social event in Eastlake Villiage this afternoon we were happy to find that there is a whole "other" group of folks there. Just as friendly, welcoming, and gracious, but many new (to us) faces. The event was a HUGE success as we had a good 25+ cars there and tons of visitors with most asking lots of questions. My only real regret is that I didnt have PCASDR business/contact cards to hand out. I think we will have some new folks comming in anyway and some more attendees to the upcomming PDS throught the great time today. Well done! (I hope someone took pictures!)

It was great fun. I wish someone would have reminded me to bring my numbers!

I talked to several people about what fun we have at the AXs, so maybe some of the "others" may start showing up at Qualcomm. :beerchug:

Sounds like a great way to boost both membership and attendance at club events. Someone on the board, who doesn't have much to do, should take on this sort of activity and find ways expand on it and run with it.
