on-track comparison: Cayenne turbo vs Panamera turbo

My wife and I dropped by Fontucky on our way back from Big Bear today, and drove a Boxter s, a 997 C4s, plus the normally aspirated and turbo 2011 Cayennes and Panameras. (Many thanks to Kelsey and her boss Heather)
Driving was on both a small-but-fast AX course, and on the infield track. Pro instructors were in the cars with me, but I was allowed to drive my own pace. I went out with my wife driving, and instructed her.
The Boxter and C4s were as expected (just like the many I've ridden in/driven while instructing) and the Cayenne, while a lot better than expected, is still a big, heavy, tall SUV.......- with 550 horsepower and 8 piston brakes :D this was my first time behind the wheel of a Cayenne, so I can't compare it to earlier versions.
This brings us to the Panamera. All I can say is
It's as fast and good handling (better handling, the balance is superb)as the Boxter and C4s while still being a high end super silent luxury car with every gizmo known to man..and four real seats that fit four real sized adults. I think there's more room inside than in the Cayenne. And with 550 horsepower and lunch control, it's plenty fast indeed.
This car is far better than I could have ever imagined, it's the ultimate street car!
I want one BAD.

There's a "Dramamine" button on the steering wheel?

For an event like this, where not all participants are racers it wouldn't be a bad idea, one of the "other" drivers made it out of the car just in time :surr: .
We were there at just the right time, the last group of a three day event. There were only four drivers for seven cars, so we got plenty of seat time, and the "Don't worry about the tires, we're replacing them tomorrow morning......drive it like you rented it" instructions made for fun.
