Cool Video

Postby John Straub on Fri Sep 10, 2010 1:35 pm

I just got this from Mark Maynard the UT Auto Editor. I think Mark was poking a stick. :) It's on a blog called the "Dogfight."

It a video of a '64 Ford Fairlane eating Porsches at the Nurburgring. Come to think about it...I'm not sure they wanted to say in front of him.

Here it is: http://www.dogfightmag.com/2010/08/a-19 ... rburgring/

Not sure, but I think he passed Sean's Orange Apex cone around 4:10 and my car near the end (had to be because the hood was up while on track...

Brian, I'm pretty sure that was Sean's car, but I didn't notice a zebra fender on the other car. Besides, the last time I saw your car (at RSR), it didn't even have a hood. It does have an S motor though. Can't wait for you to come out and play with us again...and finish the event!

The hood is somewhere at RSR! All thats left is align, install body panels, and clean. Plan is the AX on 2 Oct and I am very anxious to drive it again.
