Big Willow right after Streets Time Trial

Postby jack miller on Sun Jan 09, 2005 11:14 pm

For those of you who would like to run Big Willow, there is a TracQuest one-day event there Jan. 24. The details follow. Go to TracQuest.com to register. Before you do that tho', send in your registration for our Streets of Willow time trial Jan. 22-23. A lot of you autocross guys should be ready for the track now and Streets is the perfect transition out of the parking lot and into some major seat time (and no cornerworking). One TT event equals a whole season of autocross. So, what are you waiting for? If you have ANY questions, please don't hesitate to ask me at jmiller@pacificcollege.edu.

Now here's the TQ info:

TracQuest’s first 2005 Driver Education (DE) event at Willow Springs Int’l Raceway, 100 miles Northeast of Los Angeles, just outside of Lancaster, CA, will be a special one day event on Monday, January 24. The event is particularly special because it’s co-hosted by Speed Gallery in Studio City, CA, one of the premier high performance/tuner/cosmetic upgrade shops in the country, and will only have two run groups: Instructor/Fast and “Slower.”

With a two-run group format, drivers will get over four hours of high quality, low-traffic track time, more than double what drivers normally get in an entire time trial or race weekend or typical two-day club event.

The discounted early entry fee for this event is $275 if your entry form is received electronically or postmarked by January 17, slightly more if later. An extra driver in the same run group is an additional $75 fee a lunch tickets ($20 each) if desired.
