1/11/2005 - With the compilation of all the stats from the 2004 season, who came out on top as the most successful sportscar manufacturer in North America? TheRaceSite.com has compiled an exclusive report detailing out what drivers, teams, and manufacturers are the most successful across all forms of professional sportscar racing in North America.
For this report we have included ALMS, Grand Am, World Challenge, Trans Am, and the Grand Am Cup.
The goal of this exercise is to determine who, statistically speaking, was the best Manufacturer in sportscar racing in North America? In the end the stats show a resounding dominance by one marque in the sport. This marque has been a dominant part of the landscape for decades and will likely continue with that strength.
