Is there a current list of who would be using the CC classes next year, and what class they will be in?

FWIW, I would be CC-7 with the RA-1's and CC-6 if I run the R6's.

I think that Tom B. mentioned the classes running concurrently so they can gather examples and information to fine tune the system. I will have both class designations on Tuffy next year GSS/CC15

Hmmm, looks like I would run GSS/C16 unless I want to give up my shiny 205's (which I unfortunately destroyed at the last AX ) and come run with you and Jerry. I actually think the new classifications are going to add a whole new level of entertainment next year. Also, let me know when you're going to do your suspension upgrades, as I would luv' to get a first hand look at how to adjust those torsion bars (plus, I'm stealing those springs when they come off).

Actualy Jerry is in CC14 last I heard, Will you still be in CC16 with the new springs? I am looking forward to the CC classifications as well, but it would be strange if the three of us ended up in three different classes.

I am trying to set up a time to do the work, and it will be in El Cajon With Ryan doing the main wrenching! Sometimes its just best to have a pro take care of things. Goooo RSR Autosport! I will let you know when he is gonna dive in.

Mark: Son of a gun! From what I remember of your car you are indeed in CC16 even with the springs! Though you are maxed. Sweet! Of course if you get lonely there you can always move up a class.

I will be near max in CC15.

Jerry: As always I welcome the competition, though glancing at the last AX results it may be Mr. Brown we are chasing this year!

the new rule changes are interesting. I applied them directly to my elise for comparison purposes:

It weighs 2075 lbs and has 190 hp

Its base points come out to 410. That includes the 25 points added for the mid engine.

My total mods add 180 points. So for the safety equipment I dont need a 5 or 6 pt harness, nor a fire extingusher but I do under the current rules because I am in prepared. Interesting.

My total points are 590 , which is 10 points over a stock 997 turbo??!

That's before tires on the 997 Turbo, which for 140+ tread wear will be another 150 points. which means that stock turbo is 730 points.
