Ooops!!!

So . . . I finally found out why my car was bouncing along all the way home from the last AX (thought I might have broken something). Turns out that shiny 205's really can go fast . . . as long as they're not square! :banghead: Did anyone else have so much trouble with that nasty little left hand kink at the end of that fast front sweeper? I must have locked up that right front tire every single lap from the looks of it! Or was it just a rookie making rookie mistakes? As I was staring at that tire in disbelief, I could hear Jim Duncan's voice in the back of my brain saying "Boy, you gotta' learn how to drive!"

Mark,

Erik K and I were talking about all of the black streaks going into that corner. I'm guessing a fair share of them were yours. Funny thing about a flat spotted tire. Once it's squared off, it wants to lock up in the same spot every time. :burnout:

Mark,

Though this seems like bad news, there is a silver lining in it... now you have a reason to go to 225's! Welcome to CC15 :beerchug:

Mr. Rondeau,
Aside from it not being funny that they do this . . . it could also become very expensive! :surr:

Nope, can't blame the track design . . . it was awesome! One of the most enjoyable of the season. Nope, just have to put more seat time in and learn how to drive FLAT OUT, without FLATTENING OUT my tires!
By the way, I bet mine look worse than yours (the competition never ends!) :beerchug:

Don't worry guys. I believe Rick got spanked by a 944 at the Spring Mtn. TT so he is just suffering from a little 944 envy. He wishes his car had really faded paint just like yours.
