Photos in posts?

Hey Guys,
How do I get photos from my Picasa albums into my posts? I've seen quite a few pictures shared by others to hi-lite their posts and would like to do the same. I've tried copying the URL to the photos and pasting between the image tabs supplied on the posting bar, but I just get a little box with an "X" in place of an image.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Use Photobucket.

:roflmao:

I Sorry mark I had to...lol. I don't use Picasa so I can't help in that regard, but I have never had problems with Photobucket. Once I log in to my album there are copiable links for each picture and the type of link I want it to be, Web page post, email, imbedded, etc. I just copy the direct link one and then insert that with the "Img" option here and bling. Picture in my post.

Good luck.

M

It would be great if we could just download photos from our computers.

Hopefully someday we will have that.

OK- I will bite.

We could have pictures hosted here but it is a huge amount of work/maintenance for the Forum team.
It is not just a push of a button.
There are also additional costs that the club would have to incur for hosting storage.
Then there are the posters that will not read guidelines or even be aware of what happens when you upload a 5 meg 3504x2336 pixel photo to a forum and the page formatting gets blown to hell.

We have discussed it at length and decided remote hosting is the best solution for all.

Thanks and happy posting.
