I know that some of you got the news at the Board Meeting and some of you got it by email from Curt, for those that didn't.

Curt sent out the following:

Steve Snedeker, our Goodie Store chairman, passed away on Tuesday, November 30th of a heart attack.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, December 11th at 7:00 pm at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, 2420 La Mirada Dr, in Vista, CA.

Steve took over the Goodie Store last year and was very active with it. He cleared out old merchandise, brought in new products, established good relationships with the dealers for consignment items, and attended many events. He was very enthusiastic and creative with his position. He was also an active autocrosser. Steve will be missed by the club.

I had the pleasure to work two days with him at the Coronado Vintage Event inside our tent, what a gentleman! In the 43 years I've been in the club, we have never had a "Goodie Store" Chair like Steve. He jumped in as a new member and never stopped.

At Coronado he brought from home some of his model collection to give to kids that showed up with their parents. That will always stay with me...he had true generosity and he did it with the biggest smile of his face.

We have lost a great member of our Porsche family.

Godspeed Steve.

Steve was my student at the last AX.
What an enthusiastic person.
We had a fun day.
