I have to say based on the TT programs monetary status I was surprised to find it still not advertised on any of the popular local Porsche websites. Mike Gagen has done this quite a bit on his own I have seen. Might I recommend posting to the pelicanparts.com AX/TT page on the 911 BBS? Also on the early911sregistry.org page? How about the POC web page? Maybe the BMW club page etc? Why not do this routinely when the event flyer is up?
We are trying to boost attendance no?

I have already posted the info to the Pelican and early911s pages for starters. geez, do I have to do everything around here??  you see, thats funny because I dont do anything, but usually complain...

Good call, thanks for your help

I just added a post to Rennlist in the Racing Forum also
AS the rest of the season is finalized we can look at other options, including Panorama to post announcements, Grassroots Motorsports is another option.

I have in the past promoted PCA events on other forums.
I mentioned to Greg recently that event coverage in the WW was another way to promote the events.
Greg has done all the track event reporting in the WW except for maybe a couple.
Having missed a few PCA events then later reading the coverage in the WW really made me feel like I was missing the fun.
One year there was no coverage or photos in WW for the 3 day PCA Fontana event?
More photos of TT/DE guys in action in the WW can only help participation at future events.
How about a $40 fee for a small photo of your car in the WW with event coverage?  :D

:(
did you see the only response on RL?

$195 for a one day Time Trial? Plus $30 transponder rental, plus $25 to run 2 timed laps? Pretty soon we're talking about real money Must be run by government workers..... $250 for a 1 day? almost $400 for 2? Wow!!

The government says we're out of recession and your local PCA must believe them. Who is going to pay that kind of money?

There is a track event offered by someone here on RL at the same track a week or two before this one for $105.

No thanks. Good luck with trying to fill that weekend. Those are club race fees, not DE or time trial fees....sheesh
