I just checked the weather conditions at SOW: @7:56 it's 36-F / 2-C. Yikes! And what about the wind-chill factor?

Does Nomex come in Artic temp versions?

I'll assume it gets up into the 60's/70's at noon? Boy, I hope so.

70 Degree high with a low of 35 for th entire weekend...

That is perfect racing weather Dan.....

and one less excuse you will have for not dominating GP!

Perfect racing weather. I like it!!

Oh, I'll dominate GP, Steve, as long as I'm the only one there in that class. Or, .... maybe Stacy Smith can lone me 2 of his spark-plug wires .... and only drive on 4 pistons firing?

As for excuses:

... uh..... the sun's in my eyes...... uhm ...... I've never driven sticky tires before......errrr.......this new diff makes the car push too much..........hmmmm.........I'm new to this track.........uummm......... I was hindered........errr.... took a bad hop approaching the bowl........errrr.... I'm used to going CCW at the Q...... hhmmmmm ..... it's too Hot/Cold (circle one)..........

Curt, I'm not worried about you coming down to GP. Based on your driving skills (not the car, mind you) you'll have wind-burn on your left index finger from hanging it out the window all weekend long   . Better bring some sunscreen for your hands.

Okay.... "smack talkers", bring it!! 8)

Oh Ya Stacy Smith....He is going to be a problem for you. The cars been here for a week while I think of as many zero point go fast items I can bolt onto his car.

Oh ya then there is the set of brand new "timed run" stickies we will be bringing.....

The worst part will be getting beat by a guy driving his wife's old discarded 911...Ouch! :o

Smackie enough Dan?

Good Luck

Dang! I'm so glad MP and more importantly MI are more sophisticated, and don't feel the need to do such things.

Ah..... smack talk from a man whose lap times are tracked by a sun dial. :D

Sunscreen? You're running in Orange group right? I'd suggest a little sunscreen for your left hand too.... maybe something in an SPF 2000? 8)

And Dan, how could you ever really assess my driving skills? Wouldn't you need to be able to see my line for more than 4 or 5 seconds? :D

Don't worry Mike. THIS is when I am at my best. There's a big event coming up and smack is flying. I can hang with most of this clubs best smackers.... it's just that when Sunday afternoon comes and lap times are official.... that's when I normally get really quiet and try to slink away into the shadows.

And I know that empty feeling you speak of...... I feel it at the medal ceremonies.... :D I still have a blast though

I think that statement was very derogatory to one of our members and should be censored to protect himself:roll:

I am in MP (@ 16 pts without Hoosiers) for this weekend. But with the other plans I have for the car I might be in MI by the FoS.
