After several years of yeoman service, Ted Witte is no longer able to serve as the web photo editor for 2011.

As noted in another post, there are no pictures for 2011 up on the website.

So we need to find someone who is willing to step up and work with the web team to get photos up on the website.

Photos are available but we need someone to collect them and put them up on the website.
This job may be changing in the future as a web redesign is in process, but for the present we are looking for some help.

In a related note, the board has been discussing whether we should have someone assisting the club with social media such as Twitter and Facebook. If someone is interested, or knows someone who might be, please let me know.

While we can always use more photos, our real need is someone to organize and post them up on the web.

Experience with web software such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage would be helpful.
Photo experience is not necessary, if they can work with those who taking photos to post them on the web.

Taking pictures and posting them would be great, but the real need is web experience

Ted has taken pity and is catching up the photo page in the interim.

Just a reminder that the new web site will be rolling out in a week or less.
Therefore, there is no point in adding photos to the the current site.

With the new site, it will be two or three weeks before we are ready for photos. So thank you all for volunteering, it is much appreciated, but we need to ask you to sit tight for a couple of weeks and then we can maybe get together on a Saturday or Sunday in the second half of March to go over how to best to handle this with the new software.

Hmm, seems Phoenix stole our photo volunteer from us.
Any other takers?

I've got lot's of experience posting pics to web pages as well as MS Front Page experience (although I thought Front Page was retired and no longer supported by MS). I have several cropping and compression programs for reducing the physical and stored size of the photos. I could try this for a stint if you still need someone.
