...you could always buy an old F1 car to get your jollies at the track:

Wow! That's a cool little car. I hadn't heard of the Mono before. Kinda like the Ariel Atom w/ center-seat configuration and a full body. Thanks for posting the link, Gary. Looks like about a $108K list price, if my currency conversion is correct, plus shipping from England. Not quite F1 performance, but looks like it would be quite quick.
