After saying not long ago that they would wait for battery technology to mature, I now see that Porsche has two prototype Boxster EVs:

I wonder if they will make it to production and at what price point? I would trade the Leaf in for one in a heartbeat if it was priced under $50K, but that doesn't seem likely unless there are some battery price breakthroughs in the near future.
