The vintage races at Coronado are just around the corner, September 24th and 25th. The event is hosted by Fleetweek San Diego, and again this year we will have our Porsche Club Hospitality Tent open for you to enjoy, as well as our Porsche Parking Corral. Brought to you by our Region Vintage Race Committee, this has been one of San Diego Regions largest events, so don't miss out!

There is more info on the website calendar about the event and how to get tickets. However, if you would like to receive a free Porsche Corral Parking pass, now is the time to send for it. :beerchug:

One Corral Pass is good for one car, both days.

Send a stamped, self addressed envelope to this address:
Porsche Corral Pass
9215 Brier Rd.
La Mesa, CA. 91942

This was our tent and corral three years ago early in the morning. Don't miss out!!!

I'll again be entered in this event in "2 liter and under with disc brakes" which was Group 5 last year. Unfortunately it's not a Porsche I run but a bright red 1964 Volvo PV 544(with a discreet PCA sticker on the window).

I would welcome PCA members to hang in my pit space for a cold one or a little conversation. No requirement to talk Volvo's!

Hey Alan...that's very cool!!!! We'll be rooting for you. It's great to see some one from PCASDR out there having fun and kickin' some butt!

Come be the tent and say hi.

Thank you John, and thank you to all the volunteers that staffed the PCA tent during the weekend.
It will be even bigger and better attended next year if SDR PCA TT does not pick the same weekend.

Thanks Mike...the date is the same next year as it always is, the last weekend in September.

As usual it takes more than one person to put on this event. I couldn't do it without Monique. There were 275 corral passes sent out with 140 to 150 cars each day in the corral.

The club really should thank; John Bell, Katie Kinninger, Joe Hofmann, Bill Behun, Sean Molloy, Larry Bevins, Mike Gagen, Jay Abams, Steve Lopez, Bob and Robbie Hallet, Dean Spooner, Rich Fatuzzo and Slip and Leslie Shirley. I'm sure I missed some one...but thank you all!

Those that didn't come missed a great time.

John
