Zone 8 Autocross Series

I received an email from David Witteried, the Zone 8 Autocross Chairman asking me to remind our drivers that there is still time left to qualify for the Zone 8 Autocross Series annual awards. As of today there are still three (or four) Zone 8 autocrosses remaining in the series. This leaves enough events for all Zone 8 autocross drivers who have participated in at least one event, to get the minimum number of events to qualify for an end-of-year award! There were 11 autocrosses on the calendar which means that to qualify you must participate in 40% or 4 events. The remaining events are:

November 19 Sat SGVR/GPX Autocross-Pomona Fairplex (TBD – may be two days of DE)

So SDR did not host a Zone 8 autox this year? There are none in the results, or listed in the remaining events above. I can't really remember the last time we had no Z8 events at the Q during a season.
