Oct 21 Auto Club Speedway DE

Postby A.B. on Fri Sep 16, 2011 10:29 am

I'm considering the Oct 21 DE in Fontana with our 944. The registration form says "Infield". Does that mean the whole track will in the infield layout or will it be configured as partial infield and partial oval.

Thank you,

"A.B."

This is 'infield only'. They will typically use the term Roval if they include part of the oval with the infield. There should be some posts with a pic of the layout if you search the forum.

A.B. - This is a great first time DE track. World class and close venue, smooth surface and resonable run off.
You will have a great time.

You will have other Porsche Friends up there to help guide you. As mentioned this is a great event to attend and will sell out soon. Do your diligence getting your car ready and meet and ask your friends for help if needed. I have always been amazed at the help fellow racer friends offer, if asked or needed.. Good people.

Sadly, I can't make this one. So, I'm looking for someone to bring the radios, helmets and HotLap to the event for me. If anyone is committed to attending and has the space in the truck/car to bring "the stuff", please let me know.

Tomorrow, Friday October 7, is the last day to register for this event at the lowest possible price. http://msreg.us/AAA1011

Mike Brown is going to bring the equipment up to the event in his trailer for me. So, this is no longer an issue. Thanks.
