New PCASDR Driving Tour

As a thank you for their sacrifice and service, please join us for a 2 hour tour honoring and entertaining our wounded warriors on Sunday October 9.

At 0830, assemble in the parking lot at Park Blvd. and President’s Way (adjacent to Veteran’s Memorial)

From there we will proceed to Balboa Naval Hospital and pick up our guests for the trip.

The tour will end at the Marine Corps Aviation museum on Miramar Way for lunch. We will then return our soldiers to the hospital around 1:00 PM

Ralph Turner has mapped out a stunning 2 + hour route through the East County hill country.

Please RSVP by replying to this thread

HOW CAN I SAY NO TO THIS ONE?! Count me in. I'd like to see all 3 CDIs participate... Including next year's "candidate". You know who you are. This is going to be a real honor. The bowdown icon below is for our great men and women in uniform.

Bret and I would be very interested in participating. Bret is concerned that his present street/track/project car (my old '87 Mustang GT) is not "nice" enough - any thoughts? Some of you saw him in the car this weekend at Willow.

I have been away for awhile, but this WWP event is too great an honor to miss. I will be there with my freshly detailed RED Boxster. God Bless these heroes

Magnaflow Performance Exhaust is going to donate 30 T-shirts to be given out to the Wounded Warriors that we pick up this weekend!
I wish I had asked for support earlier because my company is a big supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project.

Click on the link to see the 2011 Special Edition Camaro that was built with the help of Mario Andretti. The Camaro will be auctioned off this January with all of the benefits going to the Wounded Warriors Project!

I hope to see some of you this weekend!

Well, I just got home from the Tour - and a great one it was. Big thanks to Don, Ralph, Mike, Keith, and everyone else who made it happen. The warrior's and spouses who participated all seemed to have a great time - the ones I talked to (including my passenger) would have loved to go faster, longer. Based on their reactions, I have a question for the Powers that Be (as well as for that the ones who soon Shall Be): would it be possible to extend this program to a track weekend, based on the current Taste of the Track program? I am sure that if it were possible, it would be very highly appreciated.

Any thoughts, anyone? I would be very willing to help on such a project.

Thanks again to all who made this happen.

Phil
