24hrs of Lemons Buttonwillow 2011...we WON!!!

Postby Autobahn on Mon Dec 05, 2011 10:34 pm

Well...we won. It was awesome!!! Perfect drive by our team, no black flags, no errors. Saturday night we had two bands play in our pits, that in it's self was nuts. Slam dancing and general mayhem going on...I was not sure I would be able to drive the first Sunday stint!?!? Our team is "#525 If it's not punk it's junk"

Here are some good articles....

This car is one of the tamest and more conservative cars in the series...
And it usually finishes the race with all the parts it started with.
And that takes some serious hair gell to keep that mohawk in place at 120 MPH!

Fine job by the entire "Autobahn Recycled Racing" family.

This team won the overall championship last year. They always have some great ideas... like the turbo sticking out of the hood?
