Memories of my first WSIR event.

This was shot with a host of Orange Run Group drivers. Adan G. did a great job his first time out. As for me, well, any time a 83 SC can keep up with a 993 ... I'm a happy guy.

Too much fun. Nice job, Adam.

Great video, thanks for posting! 83 SC with a 3.6  That was a really fun track that I firmly respected. The great thing about it was even when you thought you were going fast there was still so much time to be had as the seat time increased. I think those laps with you and I were in 1.42ish range...and to think by the time Sunday rolled around I had shaved 3+ more seconds off that is amazing.

The turn I never really felt I nailed was 1...I know I can carry much more speed throught it...I can't wait to get back to willow for a second chance!

Looking good, Dan! Is that a new surface I saw? How is it? Turn 8 looked a lot smoother. I remember the days when it was 'do you have the balls to go flat out through turn 8'... Which I tried, of course, and slid right of the track at 135 mph... I can't wait for the wife to get out of nursing school so I can add track weekends back into the budget. Looked like you guys were having big fun.
