Fun event at Pomona Fairplex.
Interesting track, still needs some work on the area after the tunnel, but potential.
Thanks to GPX and SGVR for putting on the event. :beerchug:
Kudos to Russel "freaking" Shon for TTOD

Just for curiousity sake does anyone know the driver in the black 944 with the number 951 on it?I was under the impression that once you have a registered number it cannot be used by anyone else.My number for a/x has always been 951. :?:

Steve,
I believe that only holds true for our zone. Once you start running with other areas they bring their own number sets.

Steve, every region has its own numbers. So, if you were to drive in an OCR AX, you would need to confirm with them in advance that your San Diego AX number is available. Our current registration policy is that a person may hold on to their SDR AX number without driving an AX for 2 years. After 2 years, that number may be given away. However, at some point this policy may come under review.

Also, our San Diego Time Trial Series has its own set of numbers and may not have your AX number available. Contact the TT pre-registration when you sign up for a TT or DE to inquire if your AX number is available for San Diego Region DE or TT.

Steve,
That is Lars Fallman. He is a member of GPX region. This TT was a GPX event. As Jennifer said, each region has their own numbers. So he has 951 for GPX, just like you have it for SDR.
The car is a one of 62 Black 88 944 Turbo S cars just like mine. He has brought it to a few Qualcomm events such as one of our past DE's and PDS.

So, Steve, if you go to a GPX event, Lars will have priority on 951. If Lars comes to a SDR event, you will have priority.
