The 944 Spec engine in the Red Bull #747 had to be put down after giving up the ghost in the NASA race this past weekend at Calspeedway. The search now starts for a new candidate. Has to be a known engine. Putting out the feelers with all the 944 people for any leads. Thanks

Now, Now Peter.
I wouldn't call getting 4th out of 17 including National and multiple Regional champions as well as a 6th on Sunday exactly as giving up the ghost or a failure! But I can vouch that you were definately down on power on Sunday.

I suggest you get in touch with Steve Russakov in Huntington Beach, he builds the best 944 engines around, turbo or non turbo. If you want his number let me know.
