I am proud to announce my position as Account Executive at the newly established marketing company, Striking Results Marketing. As many of you know, I have been the Marketing Intern for Porsche Cars of North America, Area West for nearly two years. My superior, Heather Brant, resigned as Marketing Manager to begin a new endeavor by creating her own marketing firm. Of course, I did not hesitate to convince her to hire me.

I was given similar advice at my first AX,

'Do not try to lift Steve McKay, he will punch your teeth in. Do not be late for corner working, he (Steve McKay) will punch your teeth in. Do not stare directly at Steve McKay, he will punch your teeth in.'

I wish I had listened, I miss solid food

Kelsey called me last night all exicted, they picked up their first two clients..............Maserati and Ferrari..............
They will be doing advertizing and track events similar to the Porsche Driving Experience. Look for a chance to try out that new Ferrari on a track some time soon.

Kelsey, that's awesome! Your career path looks golden.

Might I suggest you look into establishing a "LinkIn" page with all your professional info? Unlike the "social" networks, LinkedIn tends to be more for professional endeavers, contacts, and connections. I'm not a fan of social networking, but I do have a LinkedIn page, where I can share and link professional information and contacts when they want me to.

I've had really good success picking up clients, sharing professional info, and helping others through LinkedIn. If you're in a "Start Up" situation, it might be beneficial.

Congratulations on the career move. Keep the shiny side up (and away from K-rails) and keep smiling.
