A group buy....

I am catering to the Rennlist forum on a new line of clothing for before, during, and after driving (pribably during driving in some cases). I would like to also open this up to our local folks as well. If you are interested in joining in please e-mail at kary@group9motorsports.com.

The group buy has not started yet so please view the products in the "Grand Prix Le Mans" category and if you are serious please e-mail me with what you would like. I will be posting the details and sizing to help you select the correct sizes after we get enough people.

As a note, there will be no returns on this since there will be way too many to deal with. It will likely take about 6 weeks once we order. There will be a standard shipping fee applied for each item ordered. I will outline this once I know what it will be. The best part of this is the price will be 50% off the prices listed below. I will not be making any, that is ZERO, dollars on this deal. So please do not mnake this difficult given the time I will put into this. If you have any question please e-mail or call.

Here is the site to view the "Grand Prix Le mans" products:

Actually , I think it would be $105.00 according to Kary. But I would have to agree even that seems high for a lightweight cotton jacket.
Its great of Kary to offer the deep discount with no profit for himself. Thanks Kary!

My point was you can buy a cotton jacket for about 35 ro 40 bucks. You can buy a cotton jacket with Gulf emblems from the glory days of Porsche first big rise in 24 hour endurance racing for about 100 bucks. You can buy a sports car without a Porsche emblem for a lot less than you can buy a sports car with a Porsche emblem, say 20,000 or 30,000 less. So my orignal question stands, So how much did you pay for your boxster when you could have purchased a sport car for much less? Or maybe a better question is why?

If the boxster was, however, made of cotton...just think of the performace potential. Not to mention it would be looked on more favorably by the Earth liberation movements and such. I like the idea, Kary.

OK, here are some points to consider:

- I got a nice lightweight lined cotton jacket with Porsche logo from the goodie store for half the cost of these other jackets. The difference is purely cosmetic. My Porsche jacket may even be higher quality, who knows.

- The difference between my 986S and a $20,000 or $30,000 "sports car" is alot more than cosmetic.

A better idea would be to have the female models come to the next autocross and do a fashion show during the next timing equipment black out....
