Porsche ONLY Swap Meet this Sunday!! FREE to buyers!!!!

Due to late mailing of the Windblown Witness, we will accept telephone vendor registrations until Friday at the early registration price, but please call to tell us you are selling! (760-214-1825 or 858-521-0883)


So far, vendors coming from as far away as Central California and Las Vegas!!

Multiple vendors with 356 parts and early 911 parts!
Others with 914 and 944 parts. Even some GT3 parts!

How well are these attended? I've got some nice 3.2 parts, amd some other goodies-but I've been travelling so much, I'd hate to haul it all over, just to bring it home, and squander a Sunday morning.

First - to Martin: Just what part of "Porsche" and "ONLY" don't you understand?

Seriously, we have turned down people who wanted to sell other stuff. This is a PCASDR event and is priced very low to encourage people to bring out their parts so others in the area have an opportunity to buy them. This is intended for those of us who are aflicted with the Porsche disease. We encourage those among us who have from as little as a few parts that they want to get rid of up to the vendors who sell us our P-Car Race and / or restoration and maintenance Stuff! It is also an excuse for us to all get together and talk car stuff!

This also means that the buyers who attend are also seriously aflicted with the Porsche disease. They attend because they own a P-Car (or several) or are looking to buy one. We have had many of the Porsche restorers show up and buy everything for cars that they are restoring. We have many repeat vendors - who only come back if they are satisfied because they sold stuff! I have personally asked many of our sellers if they sold enough to make it worthwhile - almost all said yes. A few apologized for not returning, because they sold everything they had to sell. We have also had multiple car sales.

I have had several attendees tell me that there were more Porsche parts for sale here than at many of the Pomona meets (which I agree with - but it is nice to hear it from a buyer!)

So, while I can't make any promises, I feel confident in saying that if you have good 3.2 Carrera parts, bring them to sell, and price them fairly, you should sell a fair amount of it.

(It does appear that we will have an usually high amount of 356 parts available - I can't say more, but multiple vendors have recently told us that they are bringing a lot of it)

Late Breaking News:

In addition to all of the Porsche Parts for sale - We know of several cars that will be there for sale!

1 We will have a highly modified, ultra rare Factory 930S Turbo Slantnose
2 We will have a POC Championship 996 Full Race 996 Spec Car
3 We will have a Class winning 944 S AX / DE / TT Car
4 We may have a 1977 911 Targa
(There is also my 1988 944 Turbo S Race Car. It is for sale but I can't bring it!)

We have others that have indicated that they will bring their car to sell, but have not committed.

And these are just the ones that we know about in advance.

Oh, Carrera shop manuals, 3.2 pistons/cylinders, 3.2 dizzy and airbox, Magnecor wires, camera mount, rear valence, 915 shift boot, Recaro Speed seat (1), Targa "sunbrella", bra, drivers footboard, Ultralap, '84 rear axles, bright aluminum front wondow trim (NLA), etc...
