I have a "faster" car so to speak but with as fast as that track looks like already we need to have some turns! I vote to keep it, the turns are what seperate the better drivers and isn't that the whole test of an AX????

Corners are what separate fast drivers regardless of car.
I like corners

I have been at camps with teenagers recently, typical for my summers. I have to give a HUGE thanks to Jerry for his efforts while I am working. The poll is a great idea.

I voted to keep it in, as long as the radius is large enough that I don't have to drop into 1st gear. Looks ok on the map!
Actually, I am not sure the turns differentiate between the high/low horsepower cars as much as they do between the street and race tires. Lateral G-force limits are quite different between the two, and someone on Hoosiers is going to be able to take that turn a lot faster than someone on 200 TW tires.

I agree with Kim. Just keep it a flowing and rhythmic track.

While I often prefer corners as well, in this case I think you are missing the fact the the chicane becomes a very important corner offering a real challenge to take fast and gain significant time if you get rid of corner 3. Adding corner after corner just makes a lot of type 3 throw away corners, none of which are particularly exciting. Making a few type 1 corners really separates the drivers from tires and hp. I think really long straights are a waste, but setting up a few decent size straights and knowing where to give up speed to go fast is the real challenge.

Please leave it. Considering the variation in lines, this may actuall cause me to think about entry, apex and exit.

I like it!

For me this took awhile to learn, but starting to grasp it lowered my times. Looking back I wonder why it took so long to "get". Slow learner??

How long did it take you guys to feel like you really understood there are places you only "lose" time on an AutoX course, and one impt. key to being "fast" is not trying to go "too fast" in these parts.

I agree with Jad, turns that require initial restraint to exit well helps separate drivers independent of tires & hp because better drivers won't overdrive into them and others will. Tires are very impt too, hp less, but if you overdrive all the slow corners, you will be slow no matter what you drive.
