Had a really good time at the drivers' dinner last night!

We had a great time. Having the awards dinner separate from the annual installation dinner was a good idea.

Being able to relax and talk (trash, tips, whatever) with fellow drivers was a lot of fun.

Kudos to Gary Burch and everyone who helped put that on - the Berkeley was a nice venue.

Too bad we didn't get to drive yesterday, but on the other hand, I am not sure having a hundred people in close proximity right after an all day driving event would have had the same "atmosphere".

Last nite was a total team effort. The social and charity teams did a wonderful job. Along with the folks that did the table decorations, Bob Lemke and Annette for running the door. Also I would like to thank Dan Chambers for his help last year and last nite.

Like Kim says driving yesterday would have made it better but it was still a great evening.

Thanks again to everyone who came and to those who made it possible.

One last thing. The last thing Tom Tweed needs is something to make him faster.

No worries, Gary. The corner balance and alignment I won is for my '73E (AM car), not the '67S. Steve already did all his suspension magic on the GS car before last seaon started. :D

I am putting heavier torsion bars and revalving the shocks in the '73, though, and it will need his alignment work again, afterwards. I was stoked to win the silent auction. I got him for 1/2 price!

It was a great party and a very interesting venue. Thanks to everyone involved in making it happen.

TT

Thank, Gary

Gary et al, thanks for putting together the event last night. I'm sure it was a lot of work. Nice venue, nice company, a definite success. Thanks, on behalf of the Time Trial crew.

Thanks Gary & Gang

Thanks from me also to all the folks involved. Great venue (I'm biased, my wedding reception was there long ago), free drinks, $10 bucks for dinner and lots of great conversation and friends.

Gets my vote for next year.

I'd also like to thank Carl Scragg for the idea of having a separate awards dinner for the driving events. It was a great evening that capped off a great year.

Gail and I enjoyed the evening. The cost, the food (I went back for seconds), 'free' beer and wine, casualness, people teasing each other, good comraderie - we look forward to next year.

Thanks to all who thought of this and put it on! :D
