Same here but I just went with the "I like slalom cones" and "I like curves" options. As for the other 2 options, picking up cones is just part of the business. However, last weekend those slalom cones seemed to get a lot of love....love taps that is! Sadly even from myself...

The decreasing interval between the cones at the last event made it very tricky, and induced more than the average number of mistakes there.

Back in the day, when the Tres Amigos were designing courses, we always tried to incorporate "all the elements" of a driving experience:
Increasing radius turns
Decreasing radius turns
Straights
Sweepers
Slalom section
On-camber apexes
Off-camber apexes
90-degree turn 50 to 80 feet after start to prevent Drag-strip

It's a challenge, but it's been done.

Welll... We're Laurel and Hardy...

And with my summer schedule we've been down to just Laurel as of late so we included

Tired
Overworked
Swamped with Real Life
Frustrated
Busy trying to FIND a third "Amigo"
Unskilled
Incompetent
and plain ole Lazy

So we took the "instructors course" that our best drivers LOVED at the Instructors Day and made it available to the rest of the drivers. One of us is retiring in December...maybe both, so perhaps the amigos should come out of retirement.
