BMW, SCCA, Karting, PCASDR Stadium Lot Repair - Jan. 5

The stadium is letting us car clubs do a west lot repair on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. About 8AM or so until 11AM or so.
SCCA has promised to have more participants this year. Jerry Bumpus can pick up pallets of concrete with his truck.

The stadium will be doing some West Lot asphalt repairing soon. Hopefully, after we car clubs do our repairing effort we will have a much more useable West Lot.

I can help organize the logistics but I will be out of town that weekend so I cannot lead the repair day.

Need volunteers.
1) Anyone volunteer to lead the day? Returning volunteers know what to do so it should be easy.
2) Need at leat 2 strong leaf blowers. Anyone have one we can use?
3) Anyone have a concrete mixer we can use?
4) I also have some mixing tubs, shovels, trowels.

I looked at hiring a concrete truck but the logistics are too unpredictable so the car clubs decided we still have to do it the "old fashioned way".

Finally, the word from the stadium is that a year from now they plan to do major repairing to the West Lot.

Volunteer Update: Need more AUTOCROSSER volunteers!!

Uh oh, so far we have only Michael Rawski and Jerry Bumpus volunteering.
(uh oh - not because of who they are (good guys) but only 2 volunteers!)

We will be ordering less concrete than in the past 2 lot repairs so the effort will be easier and take less time.

Please email me at behun@cox.net if you can donate 3 hours on Saturday, Jan. 5 to fill in some of the potholes.

Hey Bill not sure if you got my email.

First time as a volunteer. I can donate my time, truck, and a "one yard trailer mixer" full of premixed concrete.

It could be a little quicker.

I will make an announcement at this Saturdays AX.

Only need about 4 to 5 more folks!

We won't be pouring as much as last year (over 3 cubic yards, 7,000 pounds last year)
