Hi Michael. I'm part of the AX Registration team. When you signed up for the AX on MotorsportReg it asked you to choose 3 numbers in order of preference, but it does not confirm what number you will have. Our club computer is separate and we will look to see if that number is available and notify you.
Just to let you know, numbers under 100 are often times not available. In addition, the number that is assigned to you will be yours for 2 years, but may be reassigned if you do not continue driving with us.
Also, our numbers are only for San Diego Region AX. If you are going to drive in our San Diego Region TTs, you would need to confirm that your desired number is available with San Diego Region TT Registration.
To further answer your question, the same holds true for the other regions, your number may not be available with them.
We look forward to having you drive with us, and we will be in contact in a few days if your number is available, or if there is an alternative. An AX FAQs will also go out to all new registered Drivers as well.
