Stupidity Kills...not Porsche

Another, totally preventable, ridiculous loss of life by a "pro racer" driver and passenger who both were trained and should have known better. I hope this goes where it should: That joyriding/speeding kills...period. A 35mph, wide road, going fast enough to
cut the car in half...

Hopefully this will make others think twice before doing the same.

In helping Porsche develop the Carrera GT, Walter Rohrl insisted that Porsche install traction control on the car as it is not an easy car to drive. The photos indicate that the posted speed limit was exceeded in this particular instance.
If you have children or grandchildren that are new drivers, I would highly encourage you to show them these pictures and use this as a learning tool. I've always told Isabella that there is a temptation of racing on the streets by young people, but there is nothing to win -- no trophies, no championships, only losses --- the only question is the degree of those losses. Sometimes they are in the form of a ticket or fender bender, but in this case, much much more.

Latest news:
Police have two theories of the cause.
1. Power steering leak
2. Street racing
Oh yeah, my powering forced me to go faster and lose control
