Thanks for the help at Cuckwalla

Belated thanks to all who helped me get my broken 944 out of the dirt and onto the trailer at Chuckwalla. Collective ingenuity and muscle, along with the amazingly helpful club spirit, did the trick. Getting it off when I got home was a lot easier, with a dolly under the broken hub and gravity in my favor this time. It's on the lift in my garage waiting for parts.

In retrospect, I was lucky the spindle broke there instead of in the bowl. Handling sucks with only 3 wheels.

I apologize for the missed track time, though it sounds like mine was not the only mishap this weekend.

Dave, didn't realize you had all that trouble. Glad you got the help you needed. The gang is very good about helping out with trouble at the track. We all know we are next.

And, don't worry about the bowl. I've lost it in the bowl and gone right up and over the top. No problem. The view is actually quite nice up there.
