Oh my, I just watched this Ron Howard film about Nikki Lauda and F1 thru the 70s in the Cajun home theater. Definitely gets the blood pumping during our long summer break. If you haven't seen it, see it for sure. 8)

(I know, it came out last year but I don't get out much.)

Might as well also see "Senna" if you haven't seen it.

But if you want mostly real racing footage and not much plot, see "Le Mans" on your big screen plasma with 7.1 Dolby. The sound of flat 12's at full throttle down the "chicane-less" Mulsanne straight. Oh man...

p.s. You should AX during the TT break, Dave. Everyone "down here" is...

I have seen Le Mans but it has been a while. My home theater is actually pretty modest by modern standards but the sound system is ready for the sound of 12 cylinders at full pitch.

AX?? I just might need to do that next month to scratch the itch. Besides, Adam has scared everyone out of CC03 with Cupcake the BRI killer. Maybe I'll mount some skinny-azz street tires, drop down to CC03 and at least give him something to shoot at. The Q used to be a pretty long haul for 12 laps but now one of my kids lives in Oceanside so I can mooch a free room and chow.

Boys boys let's not get ahead of ourselves. I don't think it's my place at all to interfere in SDR winning streaks. I would simply drive CC03 in the interest of friendly camaraderie and giving him a similar car to play with. Adam has driven brilliantly and earned top BRI with planning, talent, and determination. That said he has developed quite a shine on his back that looks remarkably like a large target. It only seems fitting for top SDR driver to mount a serious challenge in CC03. Someone who has a long history of winning at the Q and lives nearby so he can make all the events. Maybe someone in a silver Boxster? I'll leave you all with this short AX training video. :beerchug:
