Many thanks to Gary, Curt, Chuck, and all the volunteers for a job very well done! The turn-out was very strong (funny how rain-outs bring out more drivers at the next event  ), and I saw lots of smiling faces.

Gary, great track. That was a perfect program for practicing pitch-and-catch, and "NO BRAKES! JUST THROTTLE STEER," from the Dente school of "the brake peddle is just there for good looks." Really fun and challenging course.

Also, great job to Jackie Corwin, who shaved more than 4 seconds off her practice runs to finish with a 1:20:XX! You go, Jackie!! You got me! :x

And who could miss the "smooth sounds" of Stephanie Steiner on the microphone. It's like "budda" on the air-waves. Great job, Stephanie. 8)

Thanks again, everyone. Let's do it again April 30th. :D

Thanks also to Martha and Rikki, who stepped in to hold my hand when things got hectic in the trailer. :) BIG KUDOS to Doug Briggs for showing up with the Starbucks and John Kinkaid for bringing the beer. Kudos also to those who show up bright and early and/or stay til the end just to help pitch in. You're all fabulous. :D
