Will the AX and DE results be posted soon along with BRI information and season standings?

Bryan-
There are no "Results" from a DE-- there is no official timing done. It's not competition, it's practice, and testing and tuning. There are only unreliable reports of rumored times from Hotlap receivers to tell you about how fast people were going, and lots of excuses being made for how slow others might have been. I know I have mine ready at all times, even before the event.

Thanks Kary,
Any chance we can get a season BRI standing chart?

How would that be computed since BRI's are on an event by event basis?

I would calculate it by adding the BRI finishing position for all events that a person participated in and dividing by that number of events. (Average)
Further, I would throw out results where a person had not attended 'x' number of events.
events participated <= total events -2 (for example)
So early in the year all events would be calculated for everyone, but if someone's attendence lagged they would not hold their position within the season BRI. Just a thought.
I do like climbing up the ladder, however tall it is.
Is the BRI index adjusted at the end of each season based on class results?

The answer to your question is yes it certainly can be done; however, I am wondering what the value of such a calculation is given that the BRI has some issues that are nearly impossible to overcome and now we are going to place more statistical error on top of it by averaging numbers that are questionable.
Anyone know what happened to Al?

Al Slocum seems to have only had one run, then two DNRs. Anyone know if something happened to his car?
Thanks,
Gary

Was just a thought... We compete in our own class and adjusted time of the day and maybe that's enough.

Al Slocum's car was spilling coolant over the top and out the overflow tube. He pulled out of the grid. He had no temp problem or other indications that anything was wrong with the engine. It looked like the coolant had been overfilled. Steve Dente said the engine was dead or dying, and that this is the symptoms the Boxsters exhibit in their death throws.........
I'm curious to learn more about the outcome of this particular instance and other indicators of impending failure for the Boxster engines.

Say it ain't so....... I'll say a "wrench" prayer for Al's car. Hopefully, it was an overzelous tech at the Giffy-Lube that changed his coolant and got carried away......
Good thoughts are with you. Mr. Slocum.
