I am planning to go to Buttonwillow and would like to trailer the car up there. Does anyone have a trailer they are willing to rent for the weekend? I would prefer to give the money to a club member than to U-haul.

Yes, I checked with Wise's "trailers r' us" - seems that a certain black/galaxy 951 "daily driver" will be trailered to BW. I have borrowed from Ethan before as well but his trailer is also spoken for.

Hey Stacy, afraid your tires won't survive the trip?

I have an 18Ft dual axle, w/brake trailer I use for a 944 that will not be used that weekend if you are interested.

As for my tires, you may have seen the photos of my rears from last weekend's DE. I have a full realization of why Carreras and SCs have fender flares and 245's as stock sizes. A three liter engine seems to ask more of the tires than does the 2.7. We are going to try some RA-1's this time, always in the largest size that fits - 205.

Thanks again for the offer of the trailer - by the way, will 205's fit on that too? If I get desperate perhaps I could pull those off for timed runs.....

I have a trailer that's usually available for rent as well.
$40 per day, $80 per weekend.

Ok, Let me know. We'll take some measurements. I say that because the tire channels are kind of narrow. We know they just barely fit a 944.
