Here is my Sunday timed runs 1:48, I will post another link later with a detailed data walkthrough of this lap: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2prp4cFk_f8&t=6s. In the meantime, please pick it apart. What did I do wrong, what did I do right? What would you do differently?

I'll bite. I can't tell you anything, but I have a couple of questions.

1. What did the lift at the apex of 11 cost you? Can you figure out how to go by there flat?
2. Are you out of track to the right at the exit of 8? Can you carry more speed through 9, sliding down the hill to an ugly, ugly 8, and still get out of 8 flat?

Man, your 5 looks so good. You throw it in like you’re driving an SE30 or some other momentum crapcan.

Thanks Rob,

There is a half second on the table in my data that I can see just overlaying over other sessions. VBOX Optimal is a 1:48.30.
1: a tenth or so in the data - Theres definitely a line through here to carry more throttle, if not flat.
2: there is still some gaiter at the exit. More speed through 9 results in a very ugly 8 that isn't wide open. But earlier to throttle coming out of 9 might work, and result in a couple MPH more at the entrance to 7

I've never driven a car like yours....so keep that in mind. But you seem to apex really early all around the track. In my car, and I stress in my car, I lose time apexing that early.

Awesome watching your video. Great driving, hand control, and the car looks really fun!

In my opinion, he only apexes too early on two corners and slightly early on another. The rest is spot on. Most people wait too long on quite a few of the corners at CVR. Unlike a lot of tracks, there aren’t a lot of late apex corners. It’s more about setting up for the next section. Of course, that’s just my opinion. Great driving Alex.

Thanks for the feedback Andrew - I've found going much later in this car loses time - it has the grip to apex earlier and have a higher min speed, and smoother rotation arc.

Mark, I'm curious which corners you would go later on, I know I was early for 7 and 6 and a touch early for 12. Thanks again for the feedback!

Here's my Saturday 5th session timed lap. Left at least a second on the track between traffic and mistakes. Perfect weather. Still good enough for a class record, PB and BRI. Now I really want to see what it can do on sticker rubber.
