Considering a storage garage for my 911. Any suggestions?

My wife and I have purchased a second "practical" car, which can relegate the 911 to pleasure duty. We have only a 2-car garage in a townhome complex. After an attempt was made to steal the wheels off a neighbor's M3 overnight (while parked on the street), we're considering putting the 911 in a storage garage so we can get both our other cars in our garage.

Does anyone have suggestions for a storage complex with individual garages suitable for auto parking? Our location is Del Mar, and we would like it to be reasonably close.

Thanks,
Brett

I don't have any clue as to the details of your townhome, but some complexes have extra garages that are available to rent by any of the townhome occupants. I'm sure you would know if they did or not, but just thought I would mention it since it has worked out for me in the past.

Post a garage wanted ad in you complex newsletter. Often times someone doesn't use their garage and would be happy to rent it. Keeps the car close and useable.

The other option that I use, a car cover and good insurance...that and not telling the AM guys where I live

Good luck.

Brett,

How tall is the ceiling in your garage? A friend put a hydraulic lift in his garage and it was relatively inexpensive. It looks very clean as well.

Paul,

I would love to have clearance for a storage lift, but it's a low ceiling garage.
