portable air compressor

Several folks have asked about my new portable air compressor. It is a Master Flow MF-1050:

I love this compressor. It will add 5 psi in about a minute, runs off the battery, is compact, and comes with a carrying case. It is much more functional than the air bottle I used to carry.

Nice one! I picked up a nice little 12-volt unit with case from Harbor Frieght for around $29.00 a few years back. It's bigger, and a 'pretty' chrome ... and really kicks out a lot of air quickly. It's probably not as nice as yours, bit it gets 'er done quickly ... if a bit noisily.

You can have your pumps. Ill stick with my CO2.
165 psi, fills a truck tire from flat to 80psi in 1 min. I can power impact wrenches with it. CO2 is dryer than compressed air (no moisture in tires making pressures uneven). Much more usefull to me than a pump. It can be refilled at any welding supply store for pocket change. But with autoxing 2-3 times a month on average and lots of people borrowing it, it lasts over a year on one fill.
And everytime you use it, it helps a plant grow. It wont get any better than that.

Or you can just buy a Cayenne with air suspension and not worry about tanks or compressors-just plug in the hose under the front seat and fill away! I love multi taskers, it tows the car to the track and fills the tires.
