Hoosier R6 tires

Postby Richard Plotkin on Mon May 01, 2006 1:33 pm

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about these new tires? These replace their R3S05's.
Just curious before I take the plunge?

thanks,

I am curious too. I had the A3S05, which were fast,
but wore out real quick on the outside edge. Beveled
like on a lathe. Even with -2.5° camber and running
~41 psi hot.

Anyhow, the Hoosier guy said the A6/R6 is *SUPPOSED*
to be better with this issue. I plan on trying out
a set at ButtonWillow in June (just for timed runs).
If you get yours sooner, or hear of any real-world
use reports, please post.

Thanks,

Paul.
