Great work on the TT-DE school!!!!

Sarah (My Girlfriend) loved the school. For her it was an absolute success. It really bridged the gap between single run auto-x and having other cars around you at speed. Now she is looking for an F1 seat!! Good work everyone.

Jad, Keith, Chuck (did I forget anybody?) good job putting on this event.
It was well run, glitch free, safe, and above all FUN, and many thanks to all the instructors who gave their time to us newbies. Riding in my instructor's car was interesting...it actually has traction.......gotta get me some of that.
I felt the exercises were well chosen, and got the drivers up to speed quickly re driving fast near other cars safely.
I hope this is an annual event, it bridged the gap between ax and other type track events, hopefully convincing ax'ers to try some "big track" driving, where the real fun is.

Thank you to Jad, Chuck, Keith and all of the instructors. This was the perfect transition from AX to DE. Starting off slowly with the morning excercises worked perfectly for me as I was in a new car (new to me) and it allowed me to become comfortable with the car, multiple cars on track and passing at the same time. Special thanks to Sean Malloy, my instructor, for his assistance and instruction all day.

There really is nothing more fun than picking someone ahead of you to reel in and pass.

Great event! Hat's off to Keith, Jad, Chuck and Curt (in abstencia) for developing a great learning experience for the AX drivers who wanted a taste of something more.

Great track, great exercises, happy students, happy Instructors ... can there be a better experience?

I'm hoping the SDR adopts this program as a regular annual or semi-annual event. It will serve the members, and all the semi-competitive driving events in many ways for years to come.

Sorry I didn't see any of the TT Chairs/Organizers there. This program will benefit them most of all.

Great school. Definately needs to become an annual event. I didn't hear a single negative complaint the entire day and I had a blast too. Dan Andrews deserved to win the tires as he corded (putting it mildly)his rear on the last run group. This alone was a great incentive to continue to instruct. Instant feedback from the students and watching their learning curve progress was a real reward for me. Jad, Keith, Chuck and Curt, so glad you put this all together. It was a true success from every aspect. Well done.

I really enjoyed my time at the school. I thought most of the excersise's were pretty good except for the "parade" line--I didnt get much out of that.

In terms of improving the event--it would have been interesting to ask people at registration how comfortable they feel with aggressive driving--(very/somewhat/ or not at all) and place those cars in blue/yellow and green car groups.

I think that would heighten learning by being better matched when doing some of the excersise's.

Overall--I had a great time--Chuck, Jad and Keith--thanks for all the hard work putting this event together.

Well, I had to pinch myself this morning to make sure I wasn't dreaming, but I had the free tire certificate in my hand so it must be real!

Geez, How am I supposed to bring up instructor cornerworking now?

Jad , Keith and Chuck , an excellent event, thank you! Although you may think my opinion is a bit jaded... All the excercises went very well, I think the side by side and passing were the most helpful to students not familiar with the environment. Definately try and make this an annual event.

A very special thanks to Dan Chambers! Without his generosity and tires I may not have been able to make it. He did everthying but change the tires for me...Thank you Dan!

Thank you to Terry, my student, who made my job easier by having a good amount of experience/comfort and being very safety aware.

Also, a big thanks to Mick Rosen! who rode with my student after lunch as I got car sick and needed to sit out for a bit.

As Dan C. said if you can throw an event where everyone has a great time and learns in the process its a huge success.

To Paul Young: Thank you!!! You are an amazing instructor and an incredible driver.Driving the line and being smooth- I doubt anyone can demonstrate it better then you did. I learned a lot and one day I may even get it too!

I wanted to thank all the instructors, you did a great job making the school a success while instructing completely unfamiliar exercises. I also think the students did a great job, listening, starting slow and working up to speed and keeping things controlled and safe.

My goals for the school were to keeps thing safe and have fun, while hopefully helping people become comfortable with continuous lapping and safer drivers which I feel were all accomplished. It was also great to see all the families that attended, the Scheussler's, Enz's, Sharps, Avitt's, Comeau's, Dan and Monica, amoung others. It was trully a family event.

I will get a survey out shortly to get more feedback from everyone. I am sure our new editor, Larry Clark, would be happy to hear from you as well, so please send stories to editor@pcasdr.org for the Witness.

Actually I am lucky in that the passenger rear didn't pop going around the sweeper, otherwise I would have bought myself a wheel..

Is that how early 911s are
The rear tires were losing grip throughout the day and by the last session had given up and I actually had the car go all the way around in the back hairpin, once in front of Dan
Usually it was just one big slide from the hairpin and then carry the slide through the next left and down the hill. Getting back around for the off-camber right was the tricky part

I'd also like to echo the sentiments posted here. I had a great time and really enjoyed the morning exercises as a nice way to start the day. They went much smoother than I imagined they would. Thanks to everyone who put this event together and made it run so nicely.

Thanks also to "Lucky" Dan, for providing some great instruction. Dude, your car sounds great and you can really make it move! You definitely deserve those tires.

I vote for more DE's.

Congratulations to you all from LaRomana, Dominican Republic! We are having a good week doing medical trips in the small villages of the Haitian sugar cane cutters. Special thanks to Chuck, Jad, Keith and all the instructors who pulled this event together. I wish I could have been there with you. I have been working though, and had dinner last night with a P-car driver who has a 997 GT3, one of 3 in the Dominican Republic. See you all soon.
