I sent my entry in, and booked a room. I plan on bringing "Butch", the '78 II car, to sort it out further.

Looking forward to it!

Monica and I will be there (Team Ballast Point). It's our favorite "family" track. Look for Bagus, too.

It's early on, but I vote for "Clock-Wise" for track direction .... at least for Sunday. 8)

Sweet video! When was it taken? It looks like some healthy new, bright yellow gaters have been installed where some bad pot-holes used to be. 8)

Dano,

Right after we were there last March for our TT they made some changes. It's nicer through the gators now.

I'm guessing April 17th, 2007--with the "RGruppe" title, it was probably taken at a private track day Ray Crawford hosted then. Am I right, Mike?

Tom correct R Gruppe last year.
Will the Ultima be there? :D

Thanks guys, thought you had seen the new gators before.
The gators are very nice, large with short ripple strips.
CW on the video I use them a little.
CCW you can use all of them for great launch onto the back straight.

You mean at the PCA SOW TT? Nope. It's too soon in my testing and familiarization with the car to commit to a full TT weekend with it. I need some more cheap, single-day events to sort out how the engine and trans will fare in continuous lapping sessions (can you say Q-DE?), and I am not about to try driving it in the rain yet.

Depending on the rest of the PCA schedule (which is getting sorted out this week at the Board meeting, I've heard), I'm planning on taking it up to Ray's next R Gruppe date at SOW on Feb. 25th, the Monday before the SDR event, if the weather looks good then. As fun as Streets is, even if the car held up well, I wouldn't be ready to turn around and go back up the next weekend.
