I like the idea of repeating it at the "other car" AX, or even just repeating it after 1-2 other tracks, if people are worried about unfair experience.
Of course, all this assumes we can throw the track exactly as it was before (you did get the GPS coordinates for all the cones, right?).

I actually did, but the GPS did shift ~5 feet throughout the day? I sent the GPS track map to the AX chairs so they do have it in google earth...

I don't think it makes that much difference if someone has run the track before. If you're fast-you're fast, if you're not, you're not. I would like to run it with my new seatbelts and tires and then do it with my old seatbelts and tires and see which is faster...

Edited original comments Don't want to be a party pooper so AX Chairs please do what you want!!! I drive faster when I have a little fire under my seat.

Wish I was 37 and 50 points away from my competition like some 'other' people

So I miss one AX and I get a chance to repeat it? Cool, for me but unfair for some others who are extremely close in points. I thought the whole idea of an AX was to figure a track out in 12-16 laps? I vote no in principle.

I don't really care if we repeat the track layout. But, I am not sure how some can say there is no advantage for the driver who already drove a track . Personally I improve my laptimes everytime I return to a race track or when I get extra practice laps or even when I instruct a student.

Just my 2 cents.

Looks like a lot of people liked the last course. In order to eliminate any doubt of an unfair advantage, I would vote for a new course design or running the last course backwards. If we do run it backwards, please put some corners in the initial strait away up the hill. Carl's 180 rwhp Boxster doesn't have the legs to make it up the hill ;-)

My first reaction was "not the same crazy course again!" However, after thinking about it, I would like another shot at it. My feeling is that learning something is worth more than points. I vote for the same course again. Anybody who wants a preview of the course can ride with me.

1. GPS or not, the course will not be exactly the same.
2. This is not like returning to streets of willow with continuos lapping.
All it would take is changing a couple sections to keep the length and fun aspect intact.
This would change it enough for the ones that drove it before IMHO.
