Great job to all involved with the AX today. Enjoyed the circuit layout very much, and the slick running of the entire day.

Keep it up!! :)

SUPER THANKS for allowing the $1 runs!! I got 4 runs in and at least got to experience the fast course! :D It was for a good cause, the SDSU design team collected some $ for their projects.

I bet I speak for the majority of us when I say how much I liked this flowing course layout SO much more than our typical "fast straights connected by U turns into a driveway" type course.
Flowing medium speed corners are simply more fun! Hey, it's our club, we can set up any course we like and we're doing this just for the fun of it........I vote for more courses from this (genius) designer. :D

I will 2nd what Lucky Dave said. The track just seemed to flow yesterday, very very nicely. Great design Bill, everyone had a smile on their face yesterday. And great job by the entire Autocross team -- timing was great, we were ahead of schedule, what more can you ask for? :D

Ditto on comments above regarding the course and how smoothly it all ran! Except for the slalom..! :banghead:

HUGE thanks to Steve Grosekemper for driving all the way to his shop to loan me an oil cap (dont ask) so I could run yesterday, although he said it came off the infamous #97 914 car and guaranteed me I would be 1 sec faster with it, it didn't help.

And I must say congrats to Austin on his AM win, nicely done, however those cantilevers can't last forever.. :banghead:

Also to Mark Kinninger, while I sometimes bring out the other side of Mark, like when he is doing his timed runs and he has come in behind me in the first run and all I wanted to to do is just give him some encouragement , and while walking by his car , he promptly flipped me off through the passenger window... :roflmao:

Eric my boy, you are on another planet...

Oh yes, thank you Martin for putting in just the right amount of extra gas in your car to give me that .04 second edge... :beerchug:

I knew Erik couldn't be caught yesterday, but I too was deeply concerned about Mark Kinningers safety and encouraged him to slow down toward the end of the day. Afterall, the Smurf mobile is for sale and we don't want anything to happen to it do we?

Oh , the one I had is somewhere between the gas station off the 52 before the 15, and the stadium...

edit: I just remembered! I shipped yours back to Jae's shop about 2 seasons ago! Don't confuse me!

Great day, great course, thanks to all! Peter, excellent driving on street tires.

As promised, here is the extreme 180 view camera angle video clip. The camera is pointed to a parabolic type mirror so the video is a mirror image. Need to use a more stable mount next time- As the camera is quite sensitive to movement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5-9qlOUxtg
