That is pretty nice. It has the same resolution as my http://www.vio-pov.com/ and I like the real time data overlay without the use of http://www.trackvision.net/.

Racepak (e.g. IQ3, G2X) has announced free video overlay that will be available "real soon". Apparently they had a demo version at a Dec. trade show, so it should not be too much longer.

Here is another inexpensive option:
http://www.maxqdata.com/VeQtr.htm

The video and data overlay is included in the Chart software, but it does cost $99 if you want to export movies for YouTube etc.

I have been using the basic GPS product for the past year but now they have everything from built-in data and video overlay to a full data and video system for under $1000.

Hi Everyone,

Part of the reason that I have been mia for so long is that I have been working on a side project (another part is that the only porsche we have now is a cayenne). Me and a friend have been working with ChaseCam on a product that overlays data on video. It is called DashWare. You can check it out at www.chasecam.com/dashware. You can visuallize your data in many different ways, and create your own gauges. Check out the website for more information. Here is a video that I created from our 2007 May DE:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKKSNzRs9PE

If anyone is interested, I would like to create some videos with someone's data. The software supports multiple data sources, so I think it would be fun to show multiple sources in one video. You can do things like show two needles on one speedometer (one for each source) or multiple dots going around the track in a race etc... Also if anyone is interested I could lend the camera and logger for this weekend's autox, in exchange for letting me post the videos? Also if someone is interested in the software and has a bunch of data and video maybe we could work something out?

Thanks!
Mark

I have a lot of data and video from Fontana if you are interested. The data is from an AIM and the video from a standard home hi8 video camera.
