AX port-a-potties

Postby kleggo on Mon Apr 13, 2009 12:48 pm

We only had three this last event.
2 in the pits, one on the course.

was this a cost-savings decision, or an anticipated head-count decision, or ??????.

I vote for a couple more if possible.

cheers

Usually there are several (dozens?) port-a-potties on the lot, but we have no say over those - somebody else has paid for those to be there.

PCA SDR pays to have three brand-new port-a-potties brought for our events so we for sure have something nice and clean.

This time the port-a-pottie fairie didn't visit before our event, so we only got the three we paid for.

Back when I was the porta-pottie "chair" in the early part of this century, it was standard to only order 2. But then the Padres were playing in the stadium and the City had lots of porta-potties around to use (sometimes even clean!).

Now after the Charger season, at some unknown point in time (after Monster Trucks?), the stadium takes most of the potties away. I called once to find out when they normally do this but no one really knew. We then started getting 3 porta-potties when we found the stadium took theirs away.

Maybe we should get 4 - 3 at the pits and 1 in the middle of the course. It's about another $75 for another porta-pottie.
So, shall we spring for another porta-pottie? I think the budget can handle it but I'll look into it.

Another solution would be for everyone to stop hydrating so much! Just kidding. :roflmao:

I noticed the provider delivered one port-o-pot to the middle of the parking lot. Can we have them delivered more toward the pit area and trailer area (One near the Trailer is always nice 8) )

Atleast in the offending Porsche the motor was in the back ... wouldn't want something to hit the fan so to speak. Suffice it to say the old disclaimer"NO PORTA POTTIES WERE HURT IN THIS FILM" doesn't apply. :surr: :surr: :surr:

What degenerate decided "Spanky's" was a good name for a port-a-pottie company?

Maybe it should be an addittional 5 minute wait when you're in THE line or better yet the one you hit is the one you must use for the whole day? :surr: :surr: :surr:
